<p>Dialogs have been around for years, non-modal and the dreaded modal.  They have of-course made their way to the web. Initialy in the form of simple JavaScript Alert but now as part of the standard CSS.  Many designers have latched onto CSS&#8217;s transparency (and Apple&#8217;s design) to create glassy looking dialogs.  With the addition of the always popular drop shadow which is part of every designers toolkit.</p>
