Russ, see rule 34: <a href="http://xkcd.com/305" target="_blank">http://xkcd.com/305</a>

If you can think of it, some one out there likes it a little too much. Act quickly, and you could capitalize on it too!

@Allan:

From princeton.edu -- definition of "sexy":

Adjective
S: (adj) sexy (marked by or tending to arouse sexual desire or interest) "feeling sexy"; "sexy clothes"; "sexy poses"; "a sexy book"; "sexy jokes"
S: (adj) aphrodisiac, aphrodisiacal, sexy (exciting sexual desire)

@Austin:

You're right -- I must be doing something wrong if I can't sexually arouse users of the business apps I design! :-)

If your interfaces can't be sexy, then maybe you're doing it wrong. :-p

I don't know what "make it sexy" means exactly. My interpretation is that it means that the user derives some entertainment value from the UI beyond its core functionality. I'm guessing things like gleaming animations and "eye candy." To me, this is expensive to do and does little to advance business value, rarely being justified except in rare circumstances.

P.S. I have just been told that the "make it sexy" phrase when used in this context can produce a horrible condition in some people called "vomit in mouth" syndrome...
